Hit 10,000 steps for the first time in months scrolling Reddit before bed
I was lying there around 11:30 PM just doomscrolling like usual, and my watch buzzed saying I hit 10,247 steps. Turns out I was unconsciously shaking my leg while reading a thread about neighborhood raccoon drama. Has anyone else accidentally hit a milestone through a weird bedtime habit on their phone?

Wait, is that even real? I used to roll my eyes at people saying they got exercise from fidgeting, but you just made me check my own watch and sure enough I've got 8,400 steps from pacing around my apartment while on calls today. It's kind of wild how much those little movements add up when you're not paying attention. I guess the whole "non-exercise activity thermogenesis" thing is actually legit. Never thought I'd see the day where I took reddit drama as a win for my step count.

Pacing on calls is the only reason my step count looks decent some days. I started keeping my phone in my back pocket instead of on the desk, forces me to actually move around. Works way better than trying to get a real walk in during a busy day.

10,247 steps from just a shaking leg and some raccoon drama huh. I guess my nightly conspiracy theory rabbit holes are basically a cardio workout now. Might as well call late night scrolling my new fitness routine.
