I stopped scrolling my phone in bed 2 hours before sleep and my 7 day average went from 6h 10m to 7h 40m
I saw the change on my Fitbit app last Sunday when I was bored and poking around the sleep tab. Back in March my 7 day average was 6h 10m and I was falling asleep with the phone still in my hand. Then I started plugging it in across the room at 8pm and just lying there with a paperback instead. My average is now 7h 40m after 6 weeks of this, which is the best it's been since my youngest was a baby. The weird part is I thought I'd miss the doomscrolling but I mostly just missed the funny dog videos. Now I kind of like that boring 20 minutes before I drift off. Has anyone else seen a jump like that, or did you have to do something more drastic than moving the charger?
