The 2AM podcast episode that made me put my phone down
I was about to drift off last night when a podcast host said something like 'your phone is a slot machine, and you're the one pulling the lever.' It hit me because I counted 14 times I unlocked my phone in the 20 minutes before that. I keep replaying a 5 minute video of someone talking about how notifications are designed to hook you, not help you. Now I'm wondering if setting my screen to grayscale at 10pm would actually break that loop or if I'll just tap the gray icons anyway. Has anyone else tried a specific timer or app to stop the endless scrolling, and did it stick past day three?

That 14 times in 20 minutes is rough, I've been there and it sucks.
