A customer at my bench last Tuesday said my wheel builds felt "nervous," and I've been thinking about it all week | Bicycle Mechanics - Babble Community
Nervous" usually means the wheel is too stiff for the rider's weight or the spoke tension is cranked way too high. Happens a lot when you build to a number on the tensiometer instead of building to the person. Drop the drive side tension a bit and see if that calms it down, or check if they're on tires that are too skinny for the rim width. Also worth asking what tire pressure they run, because half the time a "nervous" wheel is really just 100 psi on a 25.
