Carbon paste vs grease on seatposts, I made the switch

After 5 years of using regular grease on carbon seatposts I finally switched to carbon assembly paste on a customer's Cervélo in Denver last month. The torque spec went from sketchy to solid and I could actually feel the difference when I pulled it back out. Anyone else deal with carbon slipping or do you just torque it higher and hope for the best?
