Chose a torque wrench over feel, glad I did on a carbon frame
I used to just snug bolts by hand on carbon parts, but after cracking a seatpost clamp on a customer's bike last spring, I grabbed a $40 beam style torque wrench. It caught two stem bolts that were way under spec that I would've sworn felt fine. Anyone else trust the click over their instincts now, or still go by touch on cheaper builds?
