Finally found a trick that saves me 20 minutes on cable housing prep

I've been fighting with Jagwire housing for years, always struggling to get a clean cut without fraying the liner. Last week I tried clamping the housing in a cheap Park Tool cable cutter and then rolling the cutter blade instead of just squeezing. It cut through clean in one shot with zero burrs. Has anyone else tried this method or got another way to keep those liners from mushrooming out?

Wait, wait wait... "rolling the cutter blade instead of just squeezing"? That actually works? I've been using the same Park Tool cutters for like three years and I always just squeeze, and I still get those tiny little liner frays that drive me insane. I'm gonna have to try this on my next build because I've got a batch of Jagwire housing sitting here that I've been dreading cutting. Does it work on the thicker compressionless stuff too?

I can barely cut zip ties without mangling them so you're basically a genius compared to me @the_richard.

Tried that exact trick last month. Works like a charm every time.
