Just realized I was wrong about tubeless sealant
I always thought tossing the old sealant every 3 months was a waste of money until I cleaned out a year-old mess of dried goo that clogged my valve stem and ruined a tire.

Dude same here. I let mine go for almost a year and ended up with this crusty layer inside the tire that wouldn't even seal a basic puncture. Now I just change it when the tire feels off and haven't had a problem since.

Wait, so did you actually try cleaning out that crusty layer before giving up on it, or was it just too far gone? I'm wondering if there's a way to salvage a tire if you catch it early enough before it gets that bad. Or is it pretty much a death sentence once you see that crust forming?

Wait, do you really think "feels off" is reliable enough? I've had tires feel totally fine and still have hidden issues, so I just change mine on a strict schedule every two years regardless.
