Put a $6 bell on a customer's townie as a joke and now I kind of get it
A regular at the shop in Auburn asked me to throw a cheap bell on his 1990s rigid mtb he uses for coffee runs, and I figured it was a gag so I did it without thinking. Two weeks later he came back saying he's been ringing it at dogs, joggers, and one very confused mailman, and honestly the thing has held up better than most of the stuff I torque to spec. Anyone else finding that the dumbest cheap part on a build ends up being the one people actually use?
