Spent $80 on a Park Tool spoke tension meter and it finally showed me why my rear wheel kept going out of true

Haven't found the tension meter tells you much about true though, has it?

Nah, the tension meter's not for truing directly, it's more about getting even spoke tension so the wheel STAYS true longer. Helps you spot loose spokes before they cause wobbles.
