Why does nobody talk about a $40 bike stand being the best money I ever spent
I fix bikes out of my garage in Tucson and for 3 years I did everything with the bike flipped upside down on the concrete, which scratched up my bars and shifters more times than I want to admit. Last spring I finally dropped $40 on a basic Park Tool home stand off Marketplace, and I have not flipped a single bike since. Doing derailleur adjustments with the cranks at eye level instead of squatting on the floor cut my tune up time almost in half. Anyone else here work off the floor for way too long before getting a stand, or am I the only one who was that stubborn?
