A coworker glanced at my watchlist and asked why every show on it was 4 seasons deep
She looked at my list and said flat out that I was only picking shows that were already finished so I would never have to wait between seasons. That hit close to home because 6 of my last 7 picks on Netflix were already done airing, and I had never noticed the pattern. Now I add any show with just one season to a separate "try it" list and give it 3 episodes before I write it off. It has gotten me into two shows I would have skipped, and one of them is easily the best thing I watched this fall. Anyone else catch themselves waiting for a show to fully wrap up firsts?
