Appreciation post: The new season of that big sci-fi show is way better than the first
I gave up after three episodes last year because the pacing was so slow, but my buddy told me to skip to season two. The plot actually moves now and the main character feels like a real person instead of a robot. Did anyone else feel the show got a lot better?

Guess I'm skipping straight to season two then.

But why skip season one? The first season sets up everything. You need to see the main character's boring office job to really get why he quits in the finale. That slow build makes his big choice hit so much harder. The payoff just doesn't work without all that setup.

My attention span is basically a goldfish with a remote... I tried watching season one and fell asleep twice. The big quitting scene hit me anyway because my own job is that boring. Maybe I got the full experience by accident.
