My buddy swore I'd like 'The Bear' and I finally gave in last night

He kept saying watch the first three episodes and if you don't get hooked he'd buy my dinner. I binged all 8 episodes in one sitting and now I owe him a steak dinner next Friday.

dunno if i'd call it "gripping" lol, i watched it too but mostly out of obligation cause my roommate kept putting it on. like yeah it's good but people act like it's the second coming of tv or something. sit through 6 hours for a show about a restaurant? i feel like you could just work a shift at chipotle and get the same stress vibes for free.

Oh man, I get that completely. The Bear just grabs you and doesn't let go, I was the same way after the first episode. Sounds like a nice steak dinner coming your way though, at least you're getting a good meal out of it.
