Showerthought: Binged all of Dark in two weeks and now I need a flowchart to function

I was at a coffee shop last Tuesday and overheard two people arguing about the timeline splits in season 2 of Dark. It got me thinking about how some shows are literally designed to break your brain if you stop paying attention for five seconds. Has anyone else had to actually pause episodes to Google family trees just to follow the plot?

Oh man, I had to pause every single episode of Dark to draw out the family tree on a napkin... by season 3 I had a whole wall of sticky notes and string going like a conspiracy theorist. My partner walked in and asked if I was planning a heist... nope just trying to figure out who Eva really was.

Three episodes in and I had already pulled out an old receipt and a pen to start mapping who was who. @barbarah19 you nailed it with the napkin thing, by season 2 I had a whiteboard in my garage with photos and strings everywhere, looked like I was solving a cold case. My buddy walked in and asked if I was tracking a fugitive or just watching a German show. The worst part is when you think you've got it figured out, then they time jump again and you have to erase half the board.
