Took 4 hours to find season 3 of that show in the right order

I finally sat down to binge that detective series everyone's been talking about, but my streaming app had episodes 5 and 6 swapped backwards for season 3. It took me 4 hours of rewinding and checking online forums to figure out I was watching everything out of sequence. Has anyone else run into a messed up episode order that ruined the whole plot for them?

Wait, 4 hours? I think you might have mixed up the order different than I did. That detective series actually has a flashback episode that's supposed to be watched out of sequence on purpose, it's like a plot twist thing. Season 3 episode 6 is a prequel to episode 5, so swapping them back might have actually fixed something the creators intended to be confusing.

Oh my god, my buddy Dave had this exact thing happen with a different show. He spent like three hours texting me screenshots being like "wait didn't this guy die already?" and I just kept saying maybe it's a flashback. Turns out his streaming app had two episodes completely flipped and he watched the whole final season thinking it was some artsy nonlinear storytelling. He was so mad.
