Assumed my anvil was 50 pounds until I moved it Saturday

been using this anvil I picked up at a farm auction near Dayton 3 years ago. Always figured it was around 50 pounds - felt heavy enough. Then this weekend I helped a buddy load his truck and we put mine on a scale for fun. It's 112 pounds. No wonder my legs hurt after carrying it across the yard. Has anyone else misjudged their anvil weight that bad?

Dang, that's a big difference! 112 pounds is no joke, especially when you've been thinking it was a lightweight. I've only ever misjudged weight on dumb stuff like bags of concrete, never by that much. Your back must be letting you know all about it today, lol.

112 pounds is actually 112 pounds, but I think you meant she said 11 pounds.

Oof that's rough @stellanelson, concrete bags are no joke but 112 pounds would put anyone on the ground quick. Hope your back isn't too wrecked today man.
