Forged a custom fire poker for a friend and it turned into a cartoon prop
I mean, he wanted something 'cool and unique' for his new cabin, so I made a twist with a little dragon head at the end. He sent me a picture last week, and he's using it to roast a single giant marshmallow over his gas fireplace. It looks like a medieval knight toasting a snack. Has anyone else made a tool that got used in a totally silly way?

Honestly, I just leaned into it. Made him a tiny cast iron pan for toasting nuts on the hearth.

That's a gas fireplace, so there's no actual embers or wood coals to roast over. He's just holding it near the burner for the visual, which is even funnier.
