Working the craft fair in Boise showed me why I need better display pieces
I set up my booth with just a few hooks and a plain tablecloth, and people walked right by. The guy next to me, Frank, had a nice forged steel rack holding his bottle openers and it drew a crowd. I sold maybe three things the whole first day. What's a simple, effective way you all display smaller forged items at markets?

Used to think my work would speak for itself, but man, that's wrong. A good stand makes people stop and actually look at the piece. I started using simple wooden blocks with angled cuts, and it made a huge difference.

Wait, angled cuts? That's smart. What angle are you using, and how do you keep the piece from sliding off if it's top-heavy?

Nah, the work should stand alone.
