Best $80 I ever wasted - that fancy Kickstarter board game organizer

Bought this deluxe insert for my game collection thinking it would save setup time. Turns out it only fits one specific game and now all my other boxes are too tall for the shelf. Anyone else fall for the 'universal' organizer lie?

I mean, did the Kickstarter page actually show it fitting multiple games or was it more like "tested with the designer's copy" and everyone just assumed? I've noticed those campaign photos are super carefully staged to make things look way more versatile than they really are. Would be curious if you checked the comments after backing it, because sometimes the backers themselves start figuring out the real dimensions and warning people.

Kickstarter photos are basically glamour shots for cardboard, I fell for it too.

Oh man, EXACTLY this. I backed a "deluxe" organizer once that looked like a perfect fit for like 5 different games in the photos, but when it showed up it was basically custom molded for ONE game and everything else just rattled around loose.
