DAE regret buying those $18 wooden inserts for Terraforming Mars?

I grabbed the Broken Token set for around $45 last month and our copy of Terraforming Mars finally fits in one box without the lid popping off. But now setup takes 20 minutes because every cube has its own little slot, and my group in Austin just wants to play, not sort. Has anyone tried those cheap $12 foam trays from a craft store instead?

Man, I feel you on the setup time. I got a cheap plastic bead organizer from a craft store for like 8 bucks and it changed everything. The trays pull right out of the box and I just set them on the table, no dumping and sorting every round. A couple of the bins were too small for the player cubes so I cut the dividers out with a box knife, took ten minutes. The lid still closes fine since the trays stack flat. Honestly the fancy wooden stuff looks nice but I'd rather spend that money on another game.
