Had a full table of strangers walk out on a 3 hour epic, still glad I backed it

Three years ago I hated anything over 60 minutes, thought long games were just math homework with tokens. Last Saturday I ran a 3 hour monster at a local cafe in Austin and four strangers stayed the whole way through, even laughing at the bad dice rolls. The rulebook was rough, but the stories we told beat any short game I've ever played. Anyone else flip from a short game purist to a long game fan after one good session?
