Had a talk with a 12-year-old at my game table and now I'm rethinking whether we gatekeep too much

He said he felt stupid because he didn't know what a 'worker placement' was, and I realized we all started somewhere, so is it fair to act like newcomers have to look up terms before they sit down?

Hang on, you're telling me that actually changed your mind? I thought you were dug in on that position for life. What was the detail that got you to flip? Because I remember you arguing the opposite side pretty hard last time this came up. Was it that study with the weird sample size or the personal story someone shared?
