Picked Gloomhaven over Terraforming Mars for our Thursday group

Our 4-person board game group had to decide between starting a Gloomhaven campaign or playing Terraforming Mars every week. I pushed for Gloomhaven because I wanted something with a story that kept going. We went with it, and after 8 sessions we're still going, but setup takes forever every time. Has anyone else dealt with the box organization struggle for this game?

Oh man that's so true! @wendyprice your buddy's cat is the real MVP here, turning a gaming session into a lesson about what happens when we don't think ahead. It's one of those things where you notice a pattern in everyday life - like how the minute you solve one problem, a new one pops up, sometimes from the most random place. Reminds me of how people get their garage organized and then realize their SUV won't fit with the new shelves. Or how you finally get all the cables labeled behind the TV and then your kid kicks the router. It's like life keeps throwing these curveballs to test our systems.

Yeah, we use those plastic tackle boxes for the monster standees and it saves so much time... Broke them down by type and labeled each drawer with a label maker.
