TIL the board game cafe in my town is actually a front for a high stakes poker ring

I was super skeptical when my buddy Dave told me the new 'Dice & Drinks' place had a secret back room. I thought he was just being dramatic. Then last Friday, I went to check out their game library and saw a guy I know from my old job walk out of the 'staff only' door with a stack of cash thicker than the Gloomhaven rulebook. The owner got real nervous and tried to shoo me toward the Ticket to Ride tables. I asked a regular about it and he just said, 'Some games have higher stakes.' It's wild because the front is totally legit, with a great selection of euros and a solid $5 cover charge. Has anyone else run into a board game spot that felt a little too shady?

What's wrong with a little side hustle?

Remember when Drew tried selling those weird candles?

Side hustles are fine but my friend bought one of Drew's candles and it smelled like burnt hair and old fruit. Nora, you remember that weird green one he had? Her whole apartment stank for a week and her cat wouldn't go near the coffee table.
