Wasted $60 on a deluxe insert for Arkham Horror LCG and it made setup worse
I bought this big foam core insert off Etsy that advertised faster setup. It took me two hours to punch out all the pieces and figure out the layout. After one game, half the cards didn't fit right and the token tray kept sliding out. Has anyone else dealt with an organizer that actually slowed you down?

Yeah I feel like this happens with a lot of "upgrade" things honestly. You spend all this time and money trying to make something better and it just makes the original problem worse in a new way. I did the same thing with a custom case for my camera gear once and it was way more annoying than just using the bag it came in. Sometimes the simplest setup really is the best.

Agree with you completely. It feels like too many of these organizers are designed by people who never actually play the game regularly. They make everything look neat in a photo but ignore how you actually grab tokens and cards during a turn. That two hours of setup time you mentioned is the real killer, because you're already invested and feel like you have to make it work. I've started just sticking to baggies and a simple plano box for tokens. The money I save goes toward actual game expansions instead of fancy cardboard.

Mike spent three hours reorganizing a BitBox before realizing his ziploc bags were faster.
