Ngl, @wendy628, but is paperwork really the whole job? I've seen foremen spend most of their time on the floor, fixing broken equipment and training the crew. The admin part is just one slice, since you still need hands-on skills to solve problems and make quick calls. Honestly, you might find you're using both wrenches and paperwork, not just trading one for the other.

At our plant, foremen do so much paperwork they forget how to swing a wrench.
