Pro tip: I switched from a standard 4-inch grinder to a 5-inch model for weld prep and the difference was huge.

I was working on a big pressure vessel job last month, prepping bevels on 1-inch plate. With the old grinder, it took me about 45 minutes per joint. After I switched to the 5-inch, I cut that time down to maybe 25 minutes. The bigger disc just takes off more material per pass and doesn't load up as fast. Has anyone else made a small tool change that saved a ton of time on a big job?

@grace_campbell What brand of 5-inch did you go with, and how's the weight difference on your wrist after a full day?

Game changer" is a stretch, most 5-inch watches still feel clunky after a few hours.
