Warning: the $18 tube roller I grabbed at a Harbor Freight in Gary cost me a whole shift
I needed a backup roller for a small boiler job in Gary last month and grabbed the cheap one instead of driving to the supply house for my usual. The pin walked out on the second tube, scored the sheet, and we spent the rest of the day dressing the hole and re-rolling, with the foreman asking why I went cheap on a tool I use every day. Has anyone found a decent roller under $100 that actually holds up, or do I just eat the cost and stick with the good ones?
