Disagree hard with skipping the tough stuff. Those messy moral questions are the whole point of a book club. Avoiding them just turns meetings into a boring echo chamber where nobody learns anything new. Real talk, wrestling with uncomfortable ideas is how you actually figure out what you believe. If everyone always agrees, you might as well just read the summary online.
