Showerthought: our club split over doing one big book a month vs two short ones, and I picked wrong
Last month our club in Sacramento had to pick between one 600 page novel a month or two shorter books around 250 pages each, and I voted for the big one. Big mistake on my part. Only 4 of the 9 of us finished it, and the meeting turned into half recap and half apology. We're voting again next week and I'm leaning toward the short books, but I'd like to hear from clubs that made the two book thing work.
