Started keeping a running list of disputed points during our club picks, and it fixed our 45 minute arguments
Used to just argue from memory when our group met at the library in Dayton, and half of us couldn't even agree on what a character said on page 200. Now I jot down page numbers and quotes on an index card as I read, so when we hit a fight I can pull out the actual line. Last month it cut a disagreement about the ending of a mystery down from 45 minutes to about 10. Does anyone else track stuff while reading or do you just wing it at the meeting?
