Dust jacket switcheroo turned my 20 year old paperback into a treasure

I bought a beat up copy of The Name of the Rose at a library sale in Boise for 50 cents, mostly for the cover art. Turns out the dust jacket was from a first edition of a different novel underneath, and the actual book inside was a signed copy of a local author's poetry collection from 1987. Took me a while to stop laughing, but now I check every jacket before I shelve. Anyone else ever crack open a swap find with a surprise inside?
