Why does nobody talk about sticky notes for marking books?
I was swapping a book with a friend last week and she noticed all my dog-eared pages. She told me to try sticky notes instead, just little tabs on the edge. So I grabbed a pack of 50 neon ones for $3 and now I can find every passage I highlighted without bending the pages. Has anyone else tried this trick or do you just write in the margins?

Did you catch that book hack from the library association's newsletter last month?

yeah, that library hack about tracking your reading habits on a simple spreadsheet instead of using apps? i tried something similar a few years back, @grace89, and it really stuck with me. it's funny how the old-school methods often work better for me personally, like handwriting notes over typing them. i notice that trend a lot in other areas too, like people ditching complex meal planning apps for a plain notepad on the fridge. your mileage may vary, but that newsletter tip reminded me that sometimes the simplest tools do the job just fine.
