Dropped a whole stack of signatures in the parking lot yesterday

Was coming back from the copy shop with about 30 signatures for a novel I'm rebinding. Gust of wind hit me right as I unlocked my car door. Papers went everywhere across the asphalt. Had to chase down pages while people in the lot just watched. Got them all but half are dirty now. Anyone else ever have a transport mishap ruin part of a project?

30 signatures loose in a parking lot sounds like a scene from a low budget heist movie where you're the unlucky getaway driver. At least now your project has that "distressed vintage" look nobody asked for.

Oh man, that's too funny! I had a similar thing happen with a batch of signed forms at a farmers market once. The wind caught them and they flew across three rows of booths. I spent twenty minutes chasing them down like a crazy person while people watched and laughed. It's like the universe just decides your paperwork needs a little adventure sometimes.

Ha, accurate. My project now looks like it went through a car wash with the sunroof open.
