Hot take: Waiting for book cloth to fully stick tests my sanity.

It always bubbles up if I rush it. What's your foolproof method?

One thing rarely mentioned is controlling the glue's dryness before contact. Apply a consistent layer to the board and wait for it to become tacky, not just wet. This stage is crucial because it prevents the cloth from sliding and bubbling. Use a roller or bone folder to press from the middle outward, working slowly. The cloth adheres faster this way, cutting down on that agonizing wait. My sanity stays intact because the process becomes predictable and reliable.

Actually waiting too long makes it peel later.

Control your room's humidity first, seriously.
