A guy at the Raleigh plant sale said my pothos was leggy, so I finally chopped it
I brought my 3-year-old pothos to a swap at the Raleigh farmers market and a guy running the table poked at it and said "that vine's just running away from the light, cut it back to the node." I did not want to, but I snipped four vines back to about 6 inches and stuck the cuttings in water, and the mother plant is pushing out new leaves on three separate stems now. Turns out I was letting it get long instead of full because I thought more vine meant more plant. Anybody got a rule for how far back to cut before it starts looking sad?
