I finally figured out why my orchid wasn't reblooming after 8 months

Turns out I was watering it with tap water and the mineral buildup was shocking the roots. Switched to distilled water and it spit out a new spike in like 3 weeks. Has anyone else dealt with weird water sensitivity in a specific plant?

I mean, the whole "could just be a coincidence" thing reminds me of something weird I dealt with. Had this peace lily that just wouldn't do anything for like a year. Turns out my tap water was so hard the minerals were basically choking the roots out. I switched to rainwater I collected from my gutters and that thing went nuts, put out like four flowers in a month. So yeah, water sensitivity is definitely a real thing with plants, not just a coincidence. Sometimes the smallest change makes the biggest difference.

Look at the timing of the post vs when the store actually updated their site. The timestamp on that screenshot is like 2 minutes before the official restock went live. That's not a coincidence, that's either an insider leak or someone running a bot that scrapes backend data. I've watched enough restock wars to know when something smells off. But what do you think, is it more likely someone got early access or they're just really fast at refreshing?
