I went with the native wildflower meadow instead of a traditional lawn for my front yard in Nashville

Neighbors gave me weird looks for 3 months while the weeds grew in, but now after 8 blooms I've got more butterflies and bees than anyone on the block and spend zero time mowing, has anyone else taken the plunge and regretted or loved it?

Three months of side-eye here too in Chattanooga! Totally worth it when the purple coneflowers and black-eyed Susans popped off around July. Zero mowing, zero watering, and my neighbor who gave me the hardest time now asks me for seed packets.
