Learned that spider plants release oxygen at night, not just during the day

Read it in a random gardening blog while looking up how to fix my yellowing pothos. Has anyone else rearranged their bedroom plants after finding this out?

Wait, really? That can't be right, can it? It's like the opposite of most plants that do their CO2 thing during the day. Now I'm sitting here looking at my sad little spider plant in the living room wondering if I should move it into the bedroom. Guess that explains why my grandma always had like eight of them scattered around her house.

Grandmas always knew stuff like that. Spider plants are workhorses for air cleaning. They pump out oxygen at night while you sleep. Definitely move it to the bedroom. Your grandma had the right idea putting them everywhere.

Your grandma was onto something for sure, can't go wrong with that.
