My monstera's aerial root rotted after I repotted it in Portland, so I tried something weird
Left it in that soggy mix for 5 days before I noticed the root was brown and squishy, so I cut it back with clean shears and stuck the plant in a chunky bark and perlite mix I got from a nursery on SE Powell, and now 3 weeks later there's a new root poking out, has anyone else had a monstera bounce back from root rot like this?

Wait, you left it in soggy soil for 5 days and it still came back?
