That one week my garden got eaten by deer on a Tuesday night
I woke up to find my prize black-eyed susans chewed down to stubs, all 12 of them. The deer came back Wednesday and finished off the zinnias too. Anyone else given up on deer-resistant plants and just built a fence?

Man that sucks, deer wiped out my entire sunflower patch last summer and I still get mad thinking about it.

Felix_black nailed it, that gut-punch feeling when you see everything flattened... same thing happened to my tomato plants, deer just strolled through like it was an all-you-can-eat buffet.
