Can we talk about how to lay brick on a curved garden wall without it looking like a zigzag?
Last month I took on a curved garden wall job in Salem for a guy who wanted a 20 foot arc, and my first course came out lumpy because I was just eyeballing the sweep. I tried a plywood template cut to the curve and it helped, but by course 4 the joints were opening up on the outside face. Any of you have a system for keeping the bond tight on a radius that size, or do you just cheat the joints a little and call it good?
