I switched from a string line to a laser level on a garage wall in Tulsa and the corners came out dead on
I had a 30 foot garage wall to lay last month and my old string line kept sagging in the middle no matter how tight I pulled it. I borrowed a buddy's laser level just to try it, and the difference showed up right away. The line stayed true the whole run, so my courses stacked flat and the corners met without me fighting them. I still keep string in the truck for small stuff, but for long walls I'm not going back. Does anyone here run a laser for everyday work or just the bigger jobs?
