My foreman said to stop soaking bricks, but I tried it anyway on a job in Reno
Everyone on the crew kept telling me wet bricks grab mortar better, but my foreman swore it was a waste of time and water. I tried dunking half a pallet for about 30 seconds each on a 90 degree day in Reno and those units set up so much cleaner than the dry ones, no mortar smearing or sliding around. So which is it, are you guys wetting your brick or is my foreman right and I just got lucky with the weather?
