Shoutout to hitting 1,000 bricks laid in one day last Friday

I've been at this 15 years and always heard guys talk about hitting a thousand in a day. Last Friday I finally did it on a basic garden wall job out in Elmwood. The crew boss counted at the end and I was genuinely surprised. Has anyone else kept track of their personal best like that?

How did you prep the string line for that wall to keep your pace up? I found that getting my line set perfectly and leaving a consistent bed depth made a huge difference when I was aiming for big numbers. On my best day I hit 975 on a retaining wall and the only thing that saved me was having all my bricks staged right where I could grab them without walking extra steps.

Keep your line tight and check your first course twice. What mortar mix you using?

@the_nathan string line game is everything, staged bricks saved my back too lol, I did 841 once same way.
