Showerthought: That recycled brick walkway came out pretty clean.

Took some time to sort the good ones. Feels good to keep stuff out of the landfill.

Nice. Sorting is the worst part but so worth it. I used old concrete chunks for a border last year. Took forever to clean off the old mortar.

Totally agree with @the_jessica about sealing it. The weather will wreck unsealed brick fast. That clean look won't last without a protectant.

Wondering if you sealed it with anything. I left mine natural for a year and the freeze-thaw cycle started to crumble some of the softer bricks. A simple linseed oil mix might help lock in that clean look.
