Vent: the homeowner's dog stole my 3-foot level on a job in Tulsa

Last week I was laying a garden wall in Tulsa and the homeowner's golden retriever grabbed my 3-foot level and ran off with it. Found it 20 minutes later buried next to a fence post, slobber and all, and the bubble still read true. Has anyone else had a dog mess with their tools mid-job?
