Went with a mixer over hand mixing for a big retaining wall, no regrets
Had to pour footings for a 60 foot retaining wall last month and everyone on the crew swore hand mixing was fine. I rented a small electric mixer for 80 bucks and it saved my back and the schedule. We still did the finish work by hand like always, but the slump was consistent every single batch. Anyone else get pushback from old timers about using machines for stuff they did by hand?
