Found out last week that most 'ground beef' in stores has a ton of pink slime filler
I was reading this article on food labeling while eating my budget chili, and it said like 70% of cheap ground beef has ammonia-treated filler mixed in. I always bought the $3.99 packs thinking I was saving money, but now I'm wondering what else is hidden in my taco meat. Has anyone else looked into this and found a good way to spot the real stuff without breaking the bank?

Oh yeah, I saw a news segment on that pink slime stuff and it made me rethink my grocery list.
